At the southernmost tip of Burgundy, the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation covers 800 ha, 194 of which will be classified as Premiers Crus from the 2020 vintage. The villages of Chaintré, Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly and Vergisson make up its exclusive production area, in an exceptional natural setting: the world-famous rocks of Solutré and Vergisson, Jurassic limestone spurs culminating at 495m and classified as a "Grand Site de France". Château de Beauregard's 1er Cru LES VIGNES BLANCHES is situated at around 300 m altitude on the steep, east-facing slope overlooking the village of Fuissé. The soil, conducive to the production of great white wines, consists of brown, stony residual clay resting on calcareous marl.
