The wine reveals great elegance due to the granitic sandy soils, with an aromatic expression blending floral, fruity and spicy impressions; the palate is complex, intense, without harshness.
Fleurie is considered the most complete and elegant of the 10 Beaujolais crus. Total surface area of the Appellation: 840 hectares. Château de Beauregard's 5 hectares of Fleurie are located on the heights of the hamlet of Poncié, one of the Appellation's historic 'Climats'. On these steep, fairly high slopes (300-400 m), with magnificent views over the Saône plain and the Moulin à Vent, the granitic arena of rotten rock, sandy in appearance, rich in silica and iron oxide, constitutes an extraordinary Terroir.
