Mâcon Solutré-Pouilly evokes ripe white fruit (pear, peach). The wine is fresh, structured and well-balanced on the palate, with a touch of citrus on the finish. Serve between 12°C and 15°C in fine crystal glasses.
In southern Burgundy, the important regional Appellation Mâcon Blanc Villages covers almost 3,000 ha and is made up of 41 villages. Solutré-Pouilly is one of these villages, best known for its production of Pouilly-Fuissé. Only a very small proportion of the vineyards in the commune produce Mâcon, hence their interest in terms of rarity and typicity. As early as 1945, to complete the Domaine, brothers Joseph and Georges BURRIER set up a grape harvesting facility in Fuissé to vinify grapes from other good winegrowers in the region. This perfect knowledge of the Mâconnais region, combined with our commitment to quality and terroir expression, has enabled us to produce this Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly.
