The nose presents notes of tangerine, acacia flower and exotic fruit, with a well-integrated touch of gunflint. The palate is lively, vibrant and saline. It's a seductive wine, totally dry, low in alcohol, and therefore highly digestible and refreshing.
In 2016, we planted this exceptional half-hectare vineyard, the only one planted with Riesling from Burgundy to the Rhône Valley. It's located on the high hills overlooking Chasselas (71), a village that's part Beaujolais, part Burgundy, where two very different geological universes meet: the Volcanic and the Jurassic. It's on the beige and sandy schists of the Volcanic Beaujolais, at an altitude of 400 m, facing NORTHEAST, that we thought the magnificent Riesling grape variety would find a Terroir conducive to its blossoming.
